Independent coffee, social by design
Brew Pass turns your neighborhood's independent cafes into a community you can actually feel: the people, the regulars, the table you keep coming back to.
Explore the cafés. Join the culture.
Launching with our founding members in Astoria, Queens. 2026.
Why we exist
Home is the first place. Work is the second. The third place, the cafe where you're a regular, where people know your name, is where community actually happens.
That third place has been quietly disappearing. Independent cafes are the last ones standing, and they're the ones under the most pressure. Brew Pass exists to make them thriving, social, full-of-life neighborhood anchors again, and to bring a little more positivity and real connection back to the block.
How it works
Brew Pass is part discovery, part ritual, part friend group, built around the independent cafes you already love.
Discover independent cafes around you, then build a ranking that's honestly yours with one quick comparison after each visit. No star averages, just your taste.
Cuppings, latte-art nights, book clubs, brew-method workshops. Recurring gatherings at neighborhood cafes, with seats saved for members.
Scan a friend's Brew Pass code to connect, see where they're regulars, and turn coffee into a reason to be around the people you like.
For cafe owners
Brew Pass sends you people during the slow stretches, the Tuesday afternoons and mid-morning lulls, and gives them a reason to come back and bring friends.
We're hand-picking a small group of anchor cafes to launch with: independents that locals already think of as cultural landmarks. Early partners get permanent founding recognition.
